Managed hosting

A service where the provider runs, secures, and maintains the servers your website lives on, so you never touch them.

Managed hosting means someone else handles the technical side of keeping your website online — the servers, security patches, backups, SSL certificates, and performance. You get a working website; they handle the server administration.

It's the opposite of cheap "shared hosting," where you're responsible for updates and debugging when something breaks. For a business that just wants its site to work, managed hosting removes the entire IT burden.
